A2, Antrim Coast Road, Northern Ireland
Running from Larne and hugging the coastline of Northern Ireland, the A2 Antrim Coast Road provides stunning views of the North Channel as it goes up to the famous Giant’s Causeway and ends near Red Arch.
This epic motorbike trip is full of twists and turns as it passes through quaint seaside villages on one side and sloping glens on the other. While the standard route is about 40km long, it can be more than doubled if you ride further up the coast.

Honister Pass- B5289, Lake District
There are very few places in the world that can compare with the beauty of the Lake District and the outstanding motorbiking roads. Out of an estimated 14 million people who visit this area each year, most of them come with their motorbikes.
Instead of taking the A66 from Keswick, this route goes past the edge of Derwent Water, past Seatoller village, Dale Head and finally past the Buttermore and Crummock water banks to finish north Cockermouth.
The N500, Northern Scotland
Some of the most spectacular scenery in entire Europe can be seen in the Scottish Highlands. The winding N500 traverses the winding roads from Inverness to John O’ Groats and then around the coast.
This route is often referred to as Scotland’s “Route 66”, the name of the world-famous American road. A few wild stretches on this road launched in 2015, but interest in the numbers of bikers has been rising steadily each year.
Black Mountain Pass, South Wales
This is easily one of the best motorbiking roads in Wales as it cuts through the beautiful Beacons National Park, attaining the maximum elevation of 1600 feet. Named A4069, this 22km stretch can be traversed in about one hour.
This sweet and short drive through the picturesque valleys of Wales is challenging as there are some tight hairpin sections. That said, the herds of roaming sheep and the fabulous mountain scenery is all well worth the effort.
A39, Somerset/Devon
Connecting Bath with Falmouth, the A39 is one of the most essential and longest roads in South West UK, especially the stretch between Minehead and Barnstaple. Though the ride is pleasant enough, there are some steep sections after you pass the village of Porlock.
Porlock hill, even today, is a struggle for many vehicles, but with a motorbike, there should be no issues. Once you ride over the Exmoor, you will be rewarded with stunning views once you start your descent from Countisbury Hill towards Lynmouth.
